In his own words: Why attend a TIAA conference?

So...what's YOUR story? Don't miss our November webinar

TIAA supports women worldwide with World Vision

In one Tbird's own words....

"There is an abundance of experience within the Thunderbird network.

TIAA conferences are a good way to access it. "

by TIAA Member Chad Lehner '99

"I am thankful to have connected with TIAA in Penang. I am a new member of TIAA though I was involved in informally assisting various graduates when I was working for investment banks over the years. But its time for me to become more active. I got a lot out of the Penang Conference. I met other operators in the Frontier of Asia. I re-connected with old friends and met new ones. I also got relevant feedback and advice from veteran investors and entrepreneurs. The network that can be fostered through TIAA is much more commercial than the First Tuesday circuit that I have relied on for many years. There is an abundance of experience within the Thunderbird network. TIAA Conferences are a good way to access it.

I met contacts that have made introductions within the Agriculture Sector both within East Asia and South Asia. I met operators in other SE Asian areas whom I can possibly give assistance on things as well. And I met numerous contacts that have Agriculture backgrounds in the Developed World who offered to give assistance if it's needed.

It's probably the first Thunderbird event I have attended where relevant networks for business can be fostered. It is a great platform for entrepreneurs to expand needed networks."
